The word idiot comes from the Greek idiotes , which means "private citizen, selfish, ignorant of public affairs." For the Greeks was the same as a citizen of the polis, and being human, could not be separated. Thus, when referring to a "private citizen", is one who actively participated in political life.
But the actual meaning of this word as all we use now comes from the fourteenth century from the French word "idiot" uneducated or ignorant person.
Today I dedicate my post to idiots world. No one can say only that "everyone knows an idiot", because the problem is more serious: we are surrounded by them.
Unfortunately in this war we have no chance of winning. Although we are better equipped and prepared than the idiots, we know that will never win against them. They do not understand the logic and common sense, weapons of any thinking.
